I want to make new national championships for small countries like Costa Rica and ( in cycling terms) brazil, etc, places my riders are from but can never have a jersey for being the best.
I realise in terms of game mechanics it wouldn't function so I want to make them like the Brit champs in normal pcm so it is automatically simulated.
How is this done?
However I'd prefer to control the ITT |

As far as I know, you cannot add simulated NC races, this is done by the game.
If you really want to have a Brazilian national champ in your team, you need to make a real race but of course you would also need to make the Brazilian national champ shirt in case your riders win it.
I cannot give you instructions for either of those tough. |

There's actually quite a lot of default NC-jerseys in 3D\Cyclist\Cloth\Country (at least in my PCM11).
You can easily change National Champions using the fast editor in the column "Champion Jerseys". Obviously it can be done with other editors as well, but it's extremely easy in the fast editor. Doesn't know for sure how its designed in Lachi's editor though.
For the ITT I usually in a similar situation use Chrono des Nations and manually assign the riders/teams from the relevant countries to participate (table: team_races) and then manually change the champion as mentioned above afterwards.
It's not too much work when it's only for the small nations with few riders.

I doubt that he wants to make his riders be the NC without racing the race but you are right, it is easier to do that in the fast editor. |

Thank you people, so are you saying the game has jerseys ready made which will never be used, bit of a waste of their time but... I'm not complaining!
With the TT route I'd prefer the Vuelta/Spanish Nat TT champs, its ridiculously easy to win.
Its a shame I couldn't have a simulate one, but I guess I could just sim them anyway to avoid having to get my entire team in the break like Columbian and Polish champs ATM.
I'm grateful for your help, and even if there are no pre made jerseys I'd be happy to learn to make them
Thanks again. |

1. Yes the game has some jerseys as several of these countries actually have a champion - it just doesn't change. Check the folder I mentioned to find the existing jerseys,. There is a good tutorial for creating jerseys somewhere on the forum (made by miggi I believe), that should get you started.
For the small nations where I want a "proper" champion, but can't race due to too few riders I usually assign the championship to the rider with the most CQ-points )or whatever it's called in your DB) at the end of the season.

Those jerseys are not meant to be never used, they'll be used if the team doesn't have a team-specific champion jersey for that country. So even if the NC from that country never change, the jersey might be used if his team changes sponsors or if he goes to another team that doesn't have a champion jersey for his country.

Thanks everyone, I think I will make a proper race even if I have to get in the break if I play 3d, i could just quick sim and the break will rarely win. I didn't know the game had team specific national champions, thanks. |

Not sure what you mean by that. I said team specific champion jerseys. This is a team specific champion jersey:
This is a default champion jersey (for Slovakia):
If Sagan f.e. changes teams and his new team does not have a jersey like the Cannondale one, then he'll wear the default/generic champion jersey + the team shorts.

Oh yes, I've spotted that, in my game he went to Sky, and now wins every race... .
I meant the same as you I just didn't know how to word it. |
