Time for the Crit Series to continue! After a rather long break, we decided to "revive" the once so famous series The circus is heading for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania - the Baltic eHealth Cycling Series!
So, time to get some nominations coming! Let's keep the crit fun alive!
R1/ Tallinn (Estonia)
R2/ Haanja/Suur Munamägi (Estonia)
R3/ Gaizinkalns (Latvia)
R4/ Kaunas (Lithuania)
2 flat and 2 hilly crits this time, which should make for an interesting fight for the title here.
The series kicks off in Tallinn and concludes in Kaunas - two of the most beautiful cities in Europe and therefore worth to highlight this Baltic Series.
As usual 14 teams with 5 riders each are invited to this criterium series, from the following countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, as well as Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Romania and also Scandinvia.. Due to the lack of depth in most of those countries, we may look for minor changes at a later point.
All PT/PCT/CT managers are able to nominate their riders. If many managers want to nominate riders for a specific country, I will try to form a well balanced team with riders from several teams.
The maximum average is 72,99. This will secure that mainly these riders will participate that don`t get many chances to ride on their own in other races.
So, the rules for nominations remain the same as usual: all managers with eligible riders from the mentioned countries can nominate their riders (in order of preference). While we will balance the teams as fair as possible.
The following MG-teams might be able to ride in their own colours, if they'll nominate 5 riders for the specific country (as shown with the flag):
airBaltic (all eligible Baltic riders)
Ekspla (all eligible Baltic riders)
Metinvest, Privatbank
Credexbank
Risa-Ergon, Aker-MOT
You are not in the list, but you have a full team as well, feel free to nominate all of them nevertheless. Also: those mentioned teams mostly have more than 5 eligible riders - so please nominate other riders as well, they may make it into one of the mixed teams! (You may also nominate riders from other Eastern European countries, if you feel they should get a chance to ride here.. no garantuee though)
You have time to nominate your players until Monday, 26th of August, 10:00 CET.

Team PrivatBank would like to start with:
Oleksandr Polivoda
Volodymyr Gomenyuk
Vitaliy Buts
Oleksandr Golovash
Anatoliy Sosnitskiy (If Metinvest allows us to...)
Also Arturs Ansons, 1 of Latvia's better sprinters would like to start here in a mixed team, aswell as Daniel Hoelgaard, if Aker-MOT choses to not let him ride.
If really needed Eduard Vorganov could take place in the Eastern Europe Mix.

Great to see this back and right in our "sphere of influence"
Thanks for this event.
Of course PrivatBank can use our loaned-out riders, it will be another great chance for Sosnitskiy. We will use their rider Prevar in "exchange".
Metinvest nomination:
Anatoliy Pakthusov
Oleksandr Grygorenko
Andriy Vasylyuk
Oleksandr Prevar
Ruslan Grychenko
Further we have a ton of mentioned nations riders, that can be used if needed. Especially Romanian super talent Grosu would be glad for chance to participate, rest is not much suited to it anyway.
Mateusz Taciak
Jaroslaw Dabrowski
Peter Kusztor
Denys Karnulin
Marlen Zmorka
Eduard Grosu

But otherwise I will nominate Kunitski.
If needed also Martin Velits.

Kunitski is eligible and very welcome

As always, some screens from the crits:
Tallinn/
Gaizinkalns/
Kaunas/
Just noticed, that both our "real" Baltic-teams' managers (airBaltic, Ekspla) haven't been online for a while... would be a real shame and also setback for this single Crit Series

More awesome screens.
And inactive managers are indeed a problem. |
