Now I know a few people will say it's down to personal preference but I want to know which database people think is the best?
I currently have the Real Name DB, and whilst it's not particularly huge on features/variants etc it does the job and it seems to be a fairly universal choice when it comes to downloads..
However I am aware Jesley has one which has slightly edited stats etc ..
And now everyone seems to be harping on about the FCD Database...having skimmed through that thread I hear good things and it seems absolutely crammed with teams, racers and varients.
I didn't slightly edit the realname DB, more like a lot
And added some other features
To me, the French Community DB is best atm(Lots of team, races, graphics things, stats a bit meh though), first big DB that's out.
PCMdaily & PCMfocus DBs will arrive soon though.
I would consider the PCMdaily Realname db to be pretty much bug free, apart from the rider specializations so at this point, I'd probably tell you to use that.
Jesleyhs db is good, but doesn't offer near as much as the other 2, as its just a stats and variants pack as far as I remember.
FCD is great, its probably my favourite, but Im biased towards the amount of races and teams. Of course with dbs this size, its a lot more likely there are some bugs, and well, there are a few. They're being fixed very fast, but nothing game breaking (if you can follow a tutorial for using an editor to edit your game, which is in french btw)
If you've got harddrive space, the PCMdaily realname db and the FCD can be installed at the same time, but there may be issues with flags and such since each db has their own Local.cdb.
This year, I've decided to wait with buying the game until the final patch has been released and the PCM.Daily Expansion Pack is completely ready. By then, PCM'13 should be a lot cheaper too

Probably a question for CrueTrue, but how does the PCMdaily Realname db compare to last season's "PCM.daily's Expansion Pack"
I think this is written in the news of the release of Real Name DB: in terms of graphics they're similar (though PCM13's Expansion Pack will have much better graphics, but we're comparing the Real Name DB and PCM12's E.P.). What hasn't been focused on Daily's Real Name DB is career mode (thus, the main things missing are new races, variants, future sponsors, and a couple of other things like the improved names for young riders).

HOW DARE you question the stats! Everything is mildly calculated, tested and adjusted. There's nothing wrong with stats. In fact, everybody that has played with the stats said they were the best stats ever

Well, didn't heard them say that this year
Also, I played with the stats and still don't think that they are the best ever, so that'd be invalid anyway
With the risk of getting a "how dare you" quote thrown at me, I do not think that this stats are good in the mountains.
In fact, that is where I think it faulters.
However the stats attributed to an individual rider and the differences between them are very, very good.

Everything else in the DB is close to perfection.
Lluuiiggii was just kidding eh?
I disagree with the that the stats attributed to an individual rider are very, very good, there were quite some mistakes.
(I've done some suggestions both in the topic & PM though, so maybe it's better next time).
Still haven't decided which one I will use when every DB is out.
