Are you sure you didn't skip 1 stage (happened to me 1 time) or he fell or something?
Maybe he lost some time that you didn't notice (on some other,or on that stage).
If not it is strange bug... |

Maybe there were hills close to the end? Or there was a breakaway that kept away?
If there are hills close to the end, it makes sense. A reduced peloton gets to the finish then, that's always the case, also in real-life.
I assume you simulated it, otherwise you had some control about it. Not advisable anyway, but you could've ticked the 'chase' box then, to avoid a break getting away. Or protecting Iglinsky with your team-mates.

No guys it happens quite alot thats why i started a 2011 story im posting the screens now in my story and their is time gaps every position it is a photo finish and Guardini and Bozic 5th and 6th on the stage were 2 seconds behind, i may aswell not continue because i dont want to get far and the AI get caught out nd lose a min in a GT or something im gutted though because i want t play 2012 and it is not optimal. |

Many stages offer bonus seconds at IS's and the stage finish, don't forget this.
Any reasonable size hill at the finish (even on a flat stage) will generate some gaps.

Manx look at stage 4 of my astana story it has time gaps on almost every position look at the screens and their is no way a time gap, Iglinsky lost 40 seconds just because he finished further down the peleton their was no crashe's etc. |

Just taken a look, it's very weird indeed. It's not bonus seconds, if you look at the stage screen result there appears riders in the Top 10 with +1", +2", +3" and so on... agree with TMM that I don't remember seeing this before. Can't be a problem with the DB because the time for time gaps is decided by the game in PCM12. So 2 'guesses': are you sure you have the latest patch? Does it also happen in single race mode?
