First post here and have been playing this game non-stop now and am now discovering its finer points. Question is 'List of Starters' I've read somewhere that this gives the actual staring line-up for each race. If that is so how does it work? As I can't seem to get it to work and end up choosing riders rather than it selecting riders and teams for me. As there are races where I'd like either the real life line-up or where it allows me to choose the main riders for each race.
You need to either download the startlists and place them in My Docs/PCM12/Users/username/Import (e.g. you can download some of last year's here), or create your own with the in-game startlist creator (Options -> Database -> click on database and then "List of starters" ). Then when you'll race the race that you have a startlist for in "Import", you choose "load list of starters".
Btw, if you'll be downloading startlists, don't forget that they are not compatible for all DBs. Also, startlists only work in single race mode, not career mode (it is possible to choose startlists in careers but it's more tricky and will require editing your save game).
