13 HC, C1 and C2 races for February. Tour of South China Sea was covered in the January update, but we still have 13 with the addition of the already race Strade Bianche.

Which teams enjoyed the best month?

With 8 victories, it is of course Rothaus at the top of the table. 7 stages followed by Bellis finally securing an overall victory for the team at the Strade Bianche. The Thuringen domination being their most memorable moment.

Stage race consistency has helped Hollister continue their charge, while Metinvest are all about Nolan Hoffman.

And already we see many of the promotion-tipped teams going well - and making the Top 10 for the monthly standings.

Hollister continue their impressive start as they continue to score points at a swift rate - now having double of the points of 5th placed WWE. Rothaus charge up to 2nd as their formula of a strong sprint on stages too hard for sprinters clicks into place, with Metinvest enjoying those sorts of races but where Hoffman is able to hold on.

Sram and WWE were thought to be teams to finish in the bottom half, so they have started well, ahead of where some of the promotion candidates are starting to congregate: ING, Bpost, Vespa, etc.

Aside the gap of the Top 2, all teams are pretty close to the teams around them so the position changes are sure to continue quite regularly. CSC, Oz, Amex, Repsol and Lukoil in the relegation zone - but there is a long way to go.

Rothaus and Hollister remain in the Top 4 based on projections, but it is Volkswagen who currently lead the way. They have raced the least so far though, so plenty of work will be required to maintain that pace.

Two recent victories have worked wonders for Vespa, lifting them from towards the bottom of projections right to the promotion spots. Tinkoff are also well placed - but there is clearly work to do for the likes of Vueling and Bintang after a less than convincing start.

Amex, Repsol and Lukoil remain in the relegating spots with the projections, now joined by Evian and Armavia.

In the Individual standings, there is a solid lead for Nolan Hoffman at the moment, a rider apprantely well suited to the dynamics of PCM12. Bellis and Pozzovivvo are into the podium spots, just ahead of Flugel - and are expected to remain towards the top - while Gesche is proving to be a bit of a surprise package so far.

With three in the Top 15 and five in the Top 26, it is easy to see why Hollister have started so well.

Iberia really hit the ground running in January, but fears of a one team domination were dampened in February as their rivals hit back.

Kenya scored well in the Middle East to go top, while Gazelle have followed consistent points scoring with a surprise victory in the Volta Galicia. They follow a C2 dominated calendar, but a foray into HC racing luckily came off for Kappa with a good Giro del Trentino capping their month as best scoring CT team, and they go 3rd. Iberia slip to 4th while Allianz-BMW hold the final promotion spot at the moment.

Magna, Sauber and Ekspla are 3 of the biggest position gainers in the month, and every team has now scored at least 1 point.

February was a good month for Gazelle. I'm glad we were able to keep our points per race day at a respectable level thanks to good performances in the stage races we entered.

Let's see what March's cobbles bring.

Looks like there are going to be some great battles in the CT for promotion, and equally great ones to avoid relegation in the PCT. Still too early i think to really get a clear idea though.

What a month for Metinvest.

Hoffman with a great lead in the individual ranking, he will of course begin to slide down throughout the season, but he keeps bringing the points here and there and i cant see him stop doing that. And while he is the majority of our point scorers, it is not all about him completly, as Popkov gained some points too and Popovych with decent gain from his first race (he will race two more in March).

3rd is obviously fantastic for us, we need to continue to score, to bring us further and further from relegation zone point wise, because hard times can come any day.

Great update again, always interesting to see. We keep scoring decent points and halfway the table at the end of the season is something I'd sign for immediately.

PS: If you already added Strade Bianchi I think you switched Teunissen and Elijzen pointswise in the individual rankings. Elijzen is on 5 points currently, that can't be right after his 3rd place in Italy.

I was clearly too tired when doing the update not to spot that! Not sure how, but there was a Mobil rider missing from the startlist info I had in the rankings file, so when I pasted the positions in, the postions are all off by one for every team who alphabetically come after Mobil

Theres a couple of minor changes on the team rankings, which I wont bother updating in this update, but I have updated the Individual standings - since it rightfully puts Bellis in 2nd.

Very pleasant to see the team still with over 20 pprd, although I know that won't last long - the luck we had in Trentino is unlikely to be reapeated, for instance.

March should be a quite worse month for us, but I hope Huta and Ben Nasser are up for it in Olympia's and Taiwan. Whatever we get from Devolder in Kenya and Corsica will be good enough.

Really interesting to see the per race day, shows that I've been able to select the right races now in the start, just hope that Ratiy and Keizer can keep up when they start racing. Other than that I decided before the season to have an easy start and then a end-heavy race planning. I hope that works in the end aswell. Last season I had start-heavy, was really fun to do well at the start, but when I started racing down the lists it sucked :-p I hope to have an opposite effect this season

Not a good month for us. Had a feeling that we would make a late season surge when feeling in the race planner. An incredible January already put us on the top spot but think February and upcoming March will be the worst point scoring months for the team. Still atop the pprd rankings so can't be unhappy.

The top teams in CT clearly emerging. Could well be the current top 5 will promote.

Great update SN, though the numbers aren't that great to see regarding my team.

I fear that if Zabriskie doesn't win in Algarve, then I'll lose ground on the promotion battle in March due to the lack of having clear race favorites in races like Langkawi and Olympia.

Promotion candidates have started their migration to the top of the rankings. Also it's both interesting and alarming to see so many underdogs off to a great start. Even relegation-tipped teams have conquered a spot amongst the very best of the PCT. Prio - Porto will be spending its season fighting to escape the bottom of the classification.

In CT things still haven't changed much but everyone is still too close to each other, so there's margin to recovery for most teams.
