Game crashes at start of 2014

Hi there, have been playing PCM12 for a while now without any problems but, when I reached 31/12/13 and tried to go forward to 2014, the game stops responding so I can't go any further. Has anyone else had any similar problems or is there anyone who can help me solve this problem? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

There's a well known bug with with a race variant that made the game crash on this date, but that was on PCM11. Perhaps you could attach your save? It could be a very similar problem, although honestly I doubt it.
