Hi there,

I'm new to this game and loving it so far, I just have a question it may seem obvious or stupid but since I'm new to this just want to make sure.

If I download a patch for example 1.4 would I have to start a new career or could I continue my current career?

You should start a new career after installing a patch, because some fixes are in the database, and will only be available in the new career.

But it it is recommended to use an other database anyway, so have a look in the download section to find an updated database.

But if you have a great career, then just continue it, because the patch will not break it.

The reason I'm asking is because when I bought it I updated to 1.4 and am using the PCM.daily's 2013 DB Preview Edition db, everything works fine except I can't see the bikes?

If you're not seeing the bikes, either you're missing one of the downloads or you've installed them incorrectly.

You should download and install these, in this order:
1. PCM.daily's Expansion Pack for Patch 1.3.0.0
2. PCM.daily's Expansion Pack for Patch 1.4.0.0 - Update from Patch 1.3.0.0
3. PCM.daily's 2013 DB Public Beta

Then, on installing. The most common installation error is installing the files to the wrong folder. By default, the installation file points to the English name for the main folder of the game (Program Files/Cyanide/Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2012). If you have the game in another language, the name of this folder might change (e.g. Saison or Seizonen 2012). Additionally, if you have the Steam version the directory is completely different (something like C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2012). In these cases, you'd need to manually select the folder of the game where the files should be installed.
