How do the PC and counsol versions differ?
Matrix
Is it worth buying? I have heard you MUST use only teams already created...no custom. I have also heard you cant create riders, you MUST use only the riders on the CD.

If both are true, is it worth having? Or are both rumors false? Id like to buy it...but dont wana be stuck with only the official release stuff. I dont create alot, but almost always create a custom team.

Both are true. The game is much slower than the PC version, and there are not many things to do. The ratings of the riders is a little bit cracked, and you can't change the ratings. So, my opinion is that it is not worth to buy.

PS. Do you, as american, pay attention to pcmdaily during Super Bowl? Smile

They are pretty much two different games (in terms of gameplay). Yes, you can only play with the teams that come with the game (the TdF teams), and with the riders of these teams. Not possible to edit anything except for riders and team names (which allows you to correct the fake names).

You can't play any sort of career, only single races. The TdF comes with the game and there are some more as DLC (Paris-Nice, Crit International iirc).

On gameplay, well, you control only one rider at a time, there's a lot more interaction with other riders, both from your team and from other teams, and also your team director. The scale is 1/2, instead of PCM's 1/10, and you only get to play sections of the stages (otherwise they'd take hours to be finished).

You should consider seeing some videos in Youtube, there are also some opinions in this forum which you might find interesting. I've never played the game because I don't have a XBOX/PS3 but it looks like fun. You'll probably get more trustable opinions from people who actually have the game though Wink
