Noob question...stay with me. Prob the 1st reply will fix it

Ok...I was using ASO DB. And decided to switch to PCM's DB.

Well, followed all the steps. But it never said to get rid of ASO.

I clicked to get to the game, and clicked play. Well the intro came up ASO, even though I chose PCM. Then, when I setup my team (created) all went well. Then I got to a race (I simulated 2 1st), and went to the 3D race...and my rider showed up...but they had no frames!?!


So Im thinking you have to reinstall the game, and get rid of all DBs. Reinstall, then add the DB as you choose.

Am I right? Or is there another method?

1. Un-Install the game
2. Install the game
3. Install the patch
4. Install the DB

If you want to be able to switch DBs, you need double installation. This would be done by copying the pcm folder in C:\Program Files\ after step 3.

Do note that uninstalling the game/ASO DB won't make equipment show up. That happens most likely because you've installed the DB incorrectly/didn't install all the needed DBs. But it's true that it's always advised to install DBs on "vanilla" versions of the game (if you want to install more than one, do as Lachi says and make multiple installations).
