how to protect my captain

Cheers - Danish gamer here.
Im new in PCM2012 but just bought the 2012 download version.
How do i protect my captain. I know that in the set-up before the race i can adresse riders as teammate etc.
How do i get the teammembers to stay close to my captain in the peleton.
Please attach pictures or links so i can see which buttons to press in which order.

Have no picture but it's easy. Just select the rider you want to protect your leader, than right-click your leader and select the left icon. He will be protected. |

thanks - tried it and it works........but only for 1 rider
How can i get the entire team to protect the captain and stay close to him |

That can't, unfortunately. Only one rider can protect, but it's alright, that will be enough! To keep the team close to the captain: select the rider/riders, right-click the captain, then the right button, they'll move up to his position. |

Actually, a little bug does make it possible. Just let the protecting rider fetch water and assign another one to protect your leader as long as he's busy. When the water is delivered, you will have two riders protecting your leader. At least this worked by coincidence for me, never tried it with even more riders though, as it's probably unnecessary. |

As you said, it's only a bug, it doesn't have the effect of two riders protecting one
