Could anybody tell me how to edit national champions? What tables I need to edit? |

Well, isn't there an option to click the box: National Champion and National Champion TT in the editor that comes with the game? I believe there is...

Bikeroel: Nope. I mainly use fast editor and in there its just point and click 
I assume it's some sort of number code, so the easiest would probably to check what it says with one of the other riders.
Example of Current NC with no previous wins: Grega Bole
Former NC: Matti Breschel
Current TT-champion with no previous wins: Adrian Malori
Former TT-champ: Leif Hoste
That should be able to help you decrypt the table

Not anymore, that was pre-PCM11.

As Atlantius said later, it's definitely easier to change them in the Fast Editor. But here's how to change them in the Full Editor:

But you can only enter 1 value, so add the values if a rider has more titles. so Cancellara as of 01.01.2011 had; WC ITT, former WC ITT, former RR and former ITT; 64 + 4 + 2+ 1 = 71
and now has; WC ITT, NC RR, former WC ITT, former RR and former ITT; 64 + 32 + 4 + 2+ 1 = 103
now for the catch (and no I won't explain you the basics in binary calculations), but if the total sum is above 128, then deduct 256 from the total.
So, for Thor Hushovd who is WC RR, NC RR, former RR and former ITT; so the total would 163, but its higher then 128 so it will be 131 - 256 = -93
in my db; WC RR, former RR and former ITT; 131 - 256 = -125

@Luigi I checked it, and yes, there is an option at the editor that comes with PCM 2012...
If you click on a rider('s name) then you can select basic information and other information.
If you click at other information, you can select all of the things TankNL said in your quote(former WC ITT champ, former NC RR champ, current NC TT champ, just everything)
So @Maximka, Just use the official editor Cyanide gave you, it's way easier...

Oh, you wrote in the editor that comes in the game - sorry, I skipped that part 
Still, we were talking about decent editors And the game's one is not even 'compatible' with some DBs (e.g. PCMDaily's).

@lluuiiggii Oh, well... 
Don't use the editor that comes with the game myself, so didn't know about the compatibility. But I think (if Maximka's DB is compatible with the editor) it's still easier to edit them in the in-game editor, that saves you a lot of maths

The easier imo is to use the fast editor, it has nice images of the champion shirts
