Names for Regions

Ive built a new region and linked it to the country okay. But it appears as "()" on the map and on the riders. How do I give it a name? Does anyone know the table name (I assume its a static table), also is there a static table covering the names of riders when newly created? I.e. French names will be different from Spanish ones?

If I am not mistaken, the names of the regions are in the local.cdb file. You can edit it using the editor from cyanide for example. The table should be STA_localized_string

As said by Lachi, the table is STA_localized_string in the Local.cdb and the ID of the country name in this table should be filled in gene_strID_country_name in STA_country.

As for young rider names, it's the regen file, located somewhere in Main PCM Folder/Xml (can't remember exactly Pfft).

I've found the region file in local as you said.
In case anyone else is reading this later, the rider name generation is in Main PCM folder, then XML then YoungRiderCarac.
Thanks again to you both. There will be some Yorkshire names entering the story now Smile
btw, all this work I'm doing making Yorkshire playable (For example, I have the regions for all UK riders), is there any appetite for including that in the official DB. If so, how would I offer? (then I gather it's up to other people to say whether they want it or not).
