Crash during new career start

I have a clean install about PCM.
After installation, I've updated it at 1.4.0 version.
I don't have mod
The game works in every modality, but not in career mode.
When I select my team, the game initialize the new seasons, but crash before to return control (it crash when "generate user calendar" or similar it's displayed)

I don't know much about technicalities but I see nobody's answered you yet, so I just thought I'd post here so it gets noticed again.
Maybe a question, did you download/edit any database or do you use the official release database? Because there could be bugs with stages if you downloaded a bad database. |

Hello! I had this problem myself. I have created some own stages and when I tried to start a new career the game crashed. Then I tried to remove my own stages from the database and it worked, so my tips is to remove your own stages from the database if you have created any. |

Well, actually that means that you didn't add your stages/race correctly But anyway, I don't think he added any stage, since he says he doesn't have any mod. But he hasn't logged in either since he posted this, so maybe he's found a solution

I strangely have the same problem. I've added a bunch of races for a story and everything seems to be filled in right but when I load the career, it crashes on "initialising calendars" for "player's team".
Any ideas on how to sort it. I really don't want to delete all the races. |

Well, obviously as I said the races haven't been added correctly. But a bunch of stuff could be wrong, so I guess it's easier if you post your DB here.

The races I added were all British apart from the An Post Ras. I also added a team and riders but I'm almost certain they're fine because they seem to work in game.

In STA_race, you should fill the ID of first and last stage in columns 'fkIDfirst_stage' and 'fkIDlast_stage' (if it's a classic, they are the same). Additionally, the IDs of stage 4 and 5 in STA_stage are switched. Other than that it seems fine, so try editing that and see if it works

The 'fkIDfirst_stage' and 'fkIDlast_stage' just contain the stages for the GT's and some classics and everything else is just blank. How can I possibly find the stage ID I want when there's nothing there? |

Ah - you need to disable lists, the fast editor wasn't made for PCM12 so the list on that column is not working as it should
