What exactly is DatabaseXML.exe (yes it is a program of a kinf but what does it do)

Perhaps I should try and resetting the game as my problems continue

Well, it's part of the Full Editor and I believe some other ones as well (Lachi's Editor I think), and I think it's responsible for extracting the database into .xml files.

Well I got a message about it using the Fast Editor (which I use when adding a race (just made one)but it looks to me as if II have to to reset the whole game...I know there is a thread about how to do that,but first I will see if the race have made it into the game anyway....Smile

Well, I can't see any connection between a message about it in the Fast Editor and a full reset of the game. For the record, at least in the Full Editor, you'll see a message "DatabaseXML.exe has stopped working" when trying to export a DB that has a "fatal" error, which can be, f.e., a blank cell which shouldn't be blank, or text in a cell that should only have numbers. So if a similar thing appeared to you, it might be an error in your edits.

Nah...it wasn't...and I don't know what it was..Smile just tested the latest (GP Kaunas) and YAHOOO...it ran till the end and had no problems...this is all very strange (about all those messages I get) ..so now I can at least upload a new raceSmile
