After much debating with Focus about why my PCM12 would not function,(i even got them to admit that the game was corrupted... I finally gave in and bought the game again. This time on CD for security reasons as I lost faith in Focus.
I installed it and it upgraded to 1.4 (I then wanted to try it out)
(I have not changed any settings(except disabling the intro video) and I have not added anything (yet)so it is pure vanilla.
But choosing a classic for the test, the race loaded and then to start screen where everything was black/yellow and subsequently the game crashed so I tried 2-3-4 times and the same occured
Now I am beginning to loose complete faith in whatever Cyanide produces
I have got the latest Nvidea drivers
and my graphics card is GE Force GE 630 which should be double as much as needed
I have just installed a much bigger cpu 2.8 ghz dual but the only thibg which causes problems and persists to do is PCM12
any ideas???
(Notice I tested the stage editor and the race loades very fine with all details) |

OOOPS was a bit too hasty here....disregard this post, approx 15 minutes after I wrote the post I got a message from Nvidea saying that I should upgrade my drivers (which I thought I had done) and after that there don't seem any problem anymore...so now I can finally begin to make races again |

And since you got it solved:
Now I am beginning to loose complete faith in whatever Cyanide produces
If it works for everybody else, it's not a problem with what Cyanide is producing, and instead it's a problem in your end, as you've seen now that you've updated your drives. But ftw, I'd still ask the money from the 2nd game back
