Does anyone know what the music is in the video at the start of the game?
Can't seem to find it listed in the credits.
Had assumed it was done by Cyanide or whoever especially for the game, but then I heard it on Al-Jazeera news channel this morning!
And no, in case you're wondering, Al-Jazeera didn't have a news story on PCM.

I'd imagine that there'd be a playable file of the song (possibly a .ogg file) somewhere in the game folder. I'm away from home and don't have access to the computer I have PCM installed on to check. I know this doesn't help you identify it, but perhaps allows you to explore listening to the song outside of the game, if you were asking because you wanted to d/l it? |

Well, the songs played in the game are found in Main PCM Folder/Sound/Music, but the trailer song is not one of them. The trailer song is together with the trailer video in Main PCM Folder/Videos.

With the right software/media player, the sound is easily extracted and converted to a listenable format such as MP3. However, I don't think it would be appropriate to discuss a copyright infringement here. |

Well, of course, I meant that if the song has a name/is longer than 35 seconds, such as Appetite For The Beats, you wont find this info in the game folder

Thanks for the responses guys.
I'm mainly looking to find out what the track is called/who it is by, rather than get a copy of it on mp3. But I appreciate the suggestions nonetheless.
Incidentally, was the same music used on previous versions of PCM? (PCM 12 is the first version I have played). |

No, and it isn't really used in PCM12, only in the trailer.

I just Shazam'd it on my smartphone and it turned up nothing. There is also a page on the Cyanide forums discussing this, but there are less responses than on here. Might be worth keeping an eye on if you aren't already [unless of course you started it!!!! ]
