"My career mode doesn't work" is hardly a helpful description, what exactly happens, and when?

When I want to do a new or i want to going to start my recent career mode. Than it don't come and as I click on the screen comes Pro cycling manager don't react anymore |

i don't think so, but I open the databases by database editor with 7-zip do you know how to change?

Your problem description is rather confusing so I just suggest anything.
1. Rename the "Pro Cycling Manager 2012" folder in "my documents" to for example "Pro Cycling Manager 2012 old"
2. Start the game
3. Start a new career
4. Tell us it if works or not |

henkie this happens alot with PCM. you have experienced one of a million bugs that can occur even though youve done nothing wrong. i suggest emailing PCM staff and telling them youve lost your game. they will say sorry. and thats it.
top 10 of all time in no particular order, not including the cannibal cause hes automatically #1:
-Gemininani -Nencini -Anquetil -Coppi
-Kelly -Hinault -Zabel -Bettini -Rebellin -Magni
..and honorable mention to Tom Simpson whos career was cut short.
Top 5 noobs most likely to tear it up this season:
-Phinney -Moser -TJ -Guardini -DURBO!
