Hi there,
I'am very content with the Daily DB database of this year.
But I''d like to change the climbingstats for two riders, Cataldo and de Gendt.
In my opion they are overrated as grandtour contenders.
How can I make that possible in the Daily DB database?

You can use the Fast Editor available from the download section. |

You need to use the editor
Go to DB editor and open the database you want
Then search cataldo or de gendt
Click on them on the left and you can change their stats
Then press edit the save

Can I do that in an existing career?
I try to change it with lachi's editor,and saved it, but when i return tot the game the stats are the same.

You'll have to edit a weekly save

export to cdb then?
And cariere season 2 cdb overwrite?
I'am new to this, so I won't damage something (I hope)

well from my experiance is from Pro Cycling Manager 2010 season so i don't know if it is the same in you're season but in the Pro Cycling Manager (season) there should be a map called: Database and in that you should see the file's of you're databases (except officalrelease one) and there should be a map named Solo and then select the database you're using. then you should see 3 files: Career_(number).cbd, Career_(number).cbd~ and Career_(number).cdi and if you edit the Career_(number).cbd then the changes should be in you're save. again this is from 2010 season, I don't know if it has changed over the years and because i'm not sure if it will work (but this is the best I have come up with)
i recommed that before you do this make a back-up of any files you're changing.

Not exactly.
In PCM10 the saves map was My Docs\PCM10\Database\Solo\DB of career.
In PCM11 it's My Docs\PCM11\Users\username\Database\Solo\DB of career, which stays the same for PCM12.

Maybe I'am doing something wrong with Lachi's editor, because the stats be the same.
I'am saving the db with the new stats, Then i do 'export to cdb 'and go to ocs\PCM11\Users\username\Database\Solo\DB of career. This one I overwrite and nothing happens.
What am I missing here? |

If you're unsure whether the changes are being saved, save it with a different name. If you can't see the file you saved to load in game, then you haven't saved it correctly.

All right, but i have only the option 'save database'in lachi's editor, i can't give it another name. When i shut and open the editor again i see the right stats that i entered by those two riders by mountainstats.
Or should i use the option extract database''?
And when i start with Lachi's editor i can't choose a DB. Then always career season 2 2012, where i'am in at the moment, is shown up

All right, it worked!
Thanks for all the advice.
The reason why it won't worked right away was because I did not extract the good DB-file where i'am playing with.
Case closed;-)
