Real and official name databases

Is there a difference between them in the stats of the riders?

Can i use previous versions databases on current versions?

Any other change besides fixes and added announced by cyanide?

Yes, same stats.
Databases are compatible for each patch as far as I know.

I begun a career with a real database 1.3.0.0 in the with version 1.4.0.0. So far so good.

Where do i put the 2D shirts with front and back (racing shirts)?

And how do i know which races are fantasy or real in the official dabatase of the game? For example Tour of South Africa.

The shirts should be placed in Main PCM Folder/3D/Cyclists/Cloth/team/team folder.

All races in the official DB (and you'd guess so for the other DBs as well) are real, just in the official DB most of them have unlicensed names (eg Supergiro di Italia instead of Giro di Italia). For example, Tour of South Africa: https://cqranking.com/men/asp/gen/race...ceid=19948
