After our many fruitless searches, grebiere and I started contact Cyanide. Their .dem are created internally, they won't give their methods but Eyolfur told me that they are OK to make more .dem files for us, provided that the request is justified. That's why I ask for your opinion, because you are the ones who use these .dem, so long as they suit you.
Here is a summary map of dem we already have.
The dem original sky blue, dark blue pack 1, pack 2 purple, 3 and 4 packs in red.
You have until tomorrow 15:30 for make your requests on this topic, from what I will recap them according to their priority and their interests. No need to ask the Cook Islands or the Eastern Lapland ...
Warning : there is no need to ask .dem above 60° north latitude or below 60° South latitude.
Thank you to be consistent in your choices and suggest areas or places of real cycling races.
Thank you to report actual races taking place on the territory you want .dem files.
Grebiere choices and I, as an indication:
Turkey: Tour of Turkey (among others), 2-HC
Gabon: Tropical Amissa Bongo, 2-1
Eritrea: Three races .2 create over there next year
Russia (Moscow region, Sochi and the Caucasus): Mayor's Cup Grand Prix in Moscow, Oleg Dyachenko Memorial Tower of Azerbaijan, Five Rings of Moscow...
Chile : Chile Tour (2.2)
Kazakstan: To make shopping in the area of Astana
Thank you for your participation!
Reminder: You have until 3:30 p.m. tomorrow !
Sorry for the bad english !

Definately Russia. As well as Moscow and Sochi, it would be brilliant to make races in the Urals in Central Russia, around cities like Yetakerinburg.
More of Ukraine would be good too - I think Kiev is on the border at the moment

Hainan would be good, as there is a race there every year.

Cameroon - GP Chantal Biya and Tour du Cameroun
Morocco - Tour du Maroc and 9 one day races category 1.2
Algeria - Circuit d'Alger and Tour d'Algérie
Brunei (if it's not yet) - Tour de Brunei
Burkina Faso - Tour du Faso
Trinidad & Tobago - Tobago Cycling Classic
For personal interest I would like Azores and Madeira, because it is possible to create nice (Portuguese) routes there. |

And this, please
On races, more than 10 .2 races of the 2012-2013 UCI America Tour are in South America. Should be something to be considered

No Santa Catarina in Brazil? One of the most epic Brazilian climbs there, the Serra do Rio do Rastro (Mountain Range of the River of the Track ), which has always been used in the usually deciding stage of the Tour of Santa Catarina. But anyway, let's hope most if not all of the green areas get some .dem files, would be pretty cool
