Once again, thanks to all of you who applied to join the Management game. We were very impressed by a lot of the applications and it wasn't an easy choice to narrow everybody down and make the selection.
Ultimately, the decision has been made to select 25 continental teams - of which 5 are managers who participated in D2 last season.
Application quality was the main focus point - whether you had 5 posts or 5000. Being willing to spend 10 minutes on the application, rather than 1 minute, is usually a good indicator of who will be more willing to put the effort in to the game once selected.
To those who miss out: Comiserations! Many of you deserved a place in the game, but there is unfortunately a limit as to how many of you we can take. Stick around, keep being productively active, and you will have a great chance of joining the game at a future opportunity. It may even be sooner than you think, if some of those who we select today do not match up to our expectations. Dissapearing from the forum will only prove that we were right not to pick you, prove us wrong!
To those selected: Don't let us down! And take the following steps:
1. Decide on your team sponsors and nationality. Don't take any sponsors that are already taken! Post your choice in: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....d_id=25580 (Just put 'N/a' under the 2012 Team Name bit)
2. Create a thread in the Teams HQ forum: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewforum.p...orum_id=96 But first, try to think about what you want to put in it. Don't start spamming the HQ forum out of excitement, its your first chance to prove youll be a good manager for the game!
3. Get a jersey made, then upload it to the Shirts Database in the ManGame 2013 section
4. Await further information... (Including more information on the structure and format of the CT division, which will be coming soon)
