Adding stages

Hi. Have added Roturns Milano - Torino 2012 stage to the CM_Stages folder, renaming it to the same name as the designated stage name in STA_Stage c0_milanotorino_2012. I had expected it to overwrite the existing cds and zces files only to find that they didn't already exist. In their place was a cdx file. Do I have to delete this for Roturns stage to work ?

You don't actually. The game looks for a cds and zces first, and if it cant find them only then does it look for a cdx

I'm halfway through the first year of a career, removing these files won't cause any issues will it ?

As SN said, you don't need to remove files, but no, they won't cause issues either way.
