Energy Gel not working

I've noticed that the energy gels are not working anymore. Whenever I click them, they start flashing like they always do before they start working. But they just keep on flashing until the end of the race. The first two seasons in this career were fine, this started happening in the 3rd season.

Anyone knows what this might be? Thanks in advance,

Can't help to fix, but it doesn't really matter as the AI doesn't use them.

But the AI cheats in other ways in-game, so I believe it's fair to use them. After all, the AI is not a human, and at some point there has to be a separation from playing in equal levels with the AI, otherwise we'd just be playing like robots. In this case, for example, the separation would be AI cheating a bit against us having gel bars, the tactics (e.g. not attack on steep sections), etc.

Okay, thanks anyway!

Iguwell: Just a small thing, counts for the entire forum, imo: I just asked about this problem, not about whether this is cheating or not or if it matters or not. I've noticed many responses like that in other threads, too (about training camps). This is no offence and definitely not personal, just constructive criticism.
