Hi, I just noticed that the counter attack mechanism has changed a little bit from the 2009 version (haven't played 2010 or 2011 though). In PCM09, when you counter attacked a rider and he ran out of energy and sat down on the bike, you kept attacking. In PCM12 however, my guy sits down when the other rider runs out of energy, even if I have plenty left. This makes me lose a lot of speed at 10%+ uphill because I have to click the attack button to get him up from the seat again.
Indeed the counter attack since PCM11 is only for 'wheel-sucking', differently than in PCM09 Anyway, I'm not 100% sure now, but I think that after the rider you're countering sits down you go back to your earlier action, so if that's the case you could put your rider in dot -> 99 for one moment before counter-attacking, so that when the attacking rider stops your rider will still be going full gas and then you can order him to attack gain slowing very little. Additionally, pausing a lot helps to time the moves better
I really don't like how it works now.
That just reminds me: Is the multiple attack penalty still in the game. (Red bar drops extremely fast when the same riders has attacked too often.)
If yes, then this change is even more stupid because you could waste many attacks by countering a rider who is attacking for just 10 meters.
