It does, but only in the final year of the contract (if you want to renew, the happier the sponsor is, the bigger your budget.. and if sponsor hapiness isn't good, they might not even want to renew it).

Cyanide did good?
It worked like that in 2011 as well. Just without the renewing bit. The happier your sponsors, the more likely you are to get a higher budget.

Now back to the question. The game tells you what the problem is: T. Van Garderen is not popular enough to represent the team in nothern american races. Who cares about the Giro in the USA? But knowing Cyanide, it would be possible that there is no rider in the game who could fulfill that requirement. |

Yes anyway he won Tour of Colorado, Utah, and California, I don't know where I will search other races.
Cyanide should notice that for the 2013, anyway it will be possible with some great Database adding others races , I hope |
