Make climbs
Luigi
I have some difficulties in making the climbs, because I want to make the right length and average slope of the climb but sometimes the climb stays with slopes higher and then less higher and then higher again like you can see in the image attached. I would like to know if you have some technique to solve this or to make this easier.

i find smooth road points works quite well, or reducing the no. of road points

I never really saw any utility in smooth road points (maybe i tried with few), but I'll give it a try.

Thanks

Indeed, the less road points you have the easier it gets to get good slopes, and the better the gameplay (in my experience). I believe you are aware, but after doing the road points you should, with "snap objects to landscape" unticked, manually change the height of the road points so that you can get the good, constant slopes (if that's what you're looking for). Sometimes you might need to alter the terrain a little bit to make it realistic as well Wink

That was the other thing I was also looking for, because I didn't know how to change the height of a road point. Grin

This years editor gives the option to introduce whatever height you want. Just click a road point and then go to profile view. You'll see in the right there is the distance, altitude and local slope of the selected road point. The altitude can be changed to whatever you want. The snap objects to landscape is the other option but I found it's easier this way.
