Hello all. First of all, apologies if this is a really basic question. Having just upgraded to PCM12, I downloaded the DBVNC and Lachi's editor and following the excellent guides on here set myself up a custom team. My aim is to be the first Portuguese WT team, so I have started at ProConti level. I made the team and its sponsors from scratch, but the result has been that their goals for my season all revolve around WT events (to which I'm not invited), and their confidence in me is already through the floor on account of me racing at San Luis (winning the first 2 stages) instead of Down Under (no wildcards...).
With that in mind 1) is it possible to edit a cdb file without having to start from scratch and 2) how would I go about doing that? As I said, it is probably a really basic thing, but I haven't been able to find an answer despite numerous searches.
You can edit a savegame cdb the same way you do a normal Database, just use Lachis Editor and look under documents/USER/Pro Cycling Manager 12/User/Database/Solo (i think)
Sponsor Goals might be useless, but i still like to have them as it adds some immersion for me.
After you open that cdb you will need dyn_races (or in Lachis Editor there is a field saying "races" because there you can find the IDs of the races.
Then you open dyn_objective where you find the 15 sponsor goals. There you can replace the races with other races (that´s why you need the ID) and you can also change what goal it is.
Off the top of my head i know theese :
4= Top10
3= Top5
2= Top3
1= Win
You can also change the Importance (the most important of the 15 has the number "1" while the least important has the number "15"
That´s all i have right now (at work, so no game access ), once i get home tonight i could have another look if you still need it.

That's brilliant. Thanks all of you. I'm also at work - it would be great to get paid to play PCM, but sadly I'm not. I'll have a play later and see what I can do.
Good to know that the sponsor goals aren't relevant to gameplay, but I agree. I like to have them as it adds to the realism. Why a Portuguese company would be interested in the Amstel Gold or Tour Down Under is beyond me!
