I guess we all got some favorite riders, maybe we like them for the way they race, good results, personality or nationality.

Who are your favorites?

9-Ball
Sean Kelly and Stephen Roche. Yes, I'm Irish, but that's not altogether why. Abdoujaparov too, which might explain why. Wink
It was eleven more than necessary.
Jacques Anquetil

Tony Gallopin
Daniel Oss

DanielKejlberg
Peter Sagan has been mine for years.. That raw talent and awesome riding - Amazing.
Jens Voigt is also a favorite. He is so orginal and seems like a very nice guy Wink

Crescenzo D'Amore!

Just his name.

Marco Pantani my favourite cyclist forever! Not only his fighting spirit during the race also how he tried to fight against his psychologic problems and finally lost the battle against the drugs. His character impressed me the most and I started cycling a few years later and the memorys of his attacks played a big part in my decision to start cycling.

Cancellara of cource!
i realy like his style and how he dominated th time trails for a few years.

Avin Wargunnson

Probably five riders stand out for me...

I never got to see him in the past, but I love Vino's aggressive style, especially in the '10 Tour, so he goes down fondly in my book.

Cavendish for his pure speed.

I love Chris Froome's story as well and have a lot of respect for him as a person.

Way way before my time, but LeMond has an incredible legacy and historically I hold him in the highest esteem.

And as a Scot I can't dislike David Millar. Although Contador might top him in a more sporting sense.

Marco Pantani, he was the best climber and nobody could beat him in mountain stage. But also Gimondi (it's epic the tour de france that won starting it like follower) and now my favourite is A.Schleck

@bballlover

What is there to dislike about the story of the first top class cyclist from Sub-Saharan Africa.. the man who grew up riding his bike around the Kenyan highlands, and was told by the Kenyan cycling board that if he sewed together a cycling shirt with a Kenyan flag on it then he could become the first ever 'Kenyan national champion', and did just that? Asante Chris!

Well not when the plot resembles more of a fantasy.

@pcm2009fan Then he decided Kenya wasn't good enough and represented Britian.
