Can someone confirm the correct size/depth/transparency/type format for the GUI logo and mini-logo files for teams? I refer to those files in:
Drive/Install Folder/Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2012/Gui/team/logo
and
Drive/Install Folder/Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2012/Gui/team/minilogo
I believe I have them right but some aren't displaying and some look awful. Ergo, it's possible I screwed up.
It was eleven more than necessary.

Jsea,
thanks - .tga I'm aware of, but I'm wondering about correct size, transparencies, etc, of each file.

Logos can also be in .dds, and in fact the game will go for those ahead of .tga. Same for minishirts.
I guess the best way to answer your questions is opening other logos to see their size, alpha channels, etc etc

Beautiful - thank you!
Luigi,
ah, I could have, indeed. I didn't think of that since it appears today is my annual blonde-moment day. I'm getting them all spent at once.
Are there any reasons to use .dds instead of .tga files? Easier to make the latter. I made dozens of .dds minishirts for PCM2008 and 9 and am happier with TGA unless there's a good reason to mess with .dds.
Finally, I notice with the team logos a weird alignment. Where the files are 128x64, the screencap attached shows the logos are all aligned far to the left. Is there a known pixel co-ordinate on how wide the actual image content can be, if not the file? i.e. if the width is 128px, how wide can the logo be within that? I can get it by trial and error but it would be good to know.
As ever, your advice is appreciated.

No, they're basically the same. The only thing is that you can save some KBs with .dds (for some quality loss though), and that the game goes for .dds first, but other than that you they're the same.
As for logos placement: in ealier games, if they occupied the whole area (or about it), the logos would enter the rider profile area.

It is an updated logo and minilogo set for accessory packs I did for members.
The previous ones were too large and ran into the rider profile area.
As can be seen in this screen:
That, however, changed in PCM11 and especially 12, where the sucky interface decided to take out lines separating the sections, so you can have logos pretty much anywhere on the 128x64 and you won't have that problem in the game (although imo it still looks a bit weird, the logo seems to much to the right and top; but if we move it to the bottom left corner of the file, the 'logo box' in career will look even weirder, it looks fine with logos in the middle):
(for the record, here's the file of Zecha's Champion System logo, you can see it's right in the middle):

Sorry for the noob question but what are the transfer av and transfer ar files? I'm trying to create all the graphics I'd need for a custom team but wasn't sure what these are. |

The easiest way is to replace it for the c00 (or c[number]) files and then choosing the first one when creating a custom team in career. The other way is to add the team to the DB.

Explain, please!
I delete C00_minimaillot.dds, rename my own team shirt (in .dds) the same name. On the custom team creation screen I see my jersey, but in the 3D mode I see old Cyanyde custom team jersey.
I forgot change something? |

If i remember correctly in addition to minimaillot you must substitute also transfer AV, transfer AR and maillot. You can find c00's transfer and maillot in C/programs/Cyanide/pcm season 2012/3D/cyclist/cloth/team/c00.
You must substitued the files in that folder with the file of your jersey. Sorry if the linguage it's not correct. |

Not sure if bringing up a 3-month-dead thread to say "no problem" for someone who hasn't posted since this was the best idea
