I´m playing career mode of PCM2011 using PCM.daily's 2012 DB V2 | Public Beta to V2 Update (PCM11). I´m in fourth season now and therefore the route of Vuelta Espana is same as in previous year (according to database there should be added 2 additional routes - therefore no change occured comparing to previous (third) season.
Could I ask if it is possible somehow to change the route of Vuelta Espana using the rou of first or second season? Not only play same routes as in third year.
This problem will occured also with Giro and Tour after 5 additional routes will be finnished (after 6 season)
Well, you were a bit unlucky unfortunately Differently than what was done in the V1, in the V2 the GTs would have partially random routes in the first 2~3 years, and for the Vuelta in 2014 you could get routes nº 2, 3 or 4, and in 2015 routes 3 ~ 7, so there was a chance that you get the same route twice.
Anyway, where are you in your career? If you're still in January, you could load a weekly save from before the route announcements, then the variants will be chosen again. If you're already far in your career and don't want to do that, you'd need to enter the stages settings manually from another variant (in this case, you could load a weekly save, then the game chooses another variant, than you copy and paste the Vuelta stages info from this save to your actual save).
Btw, this 'random' choice of variant only happens in the 2nd year for Giro, 2nd and 3rd year for Tour and 2nd, 3rd and 4th for Vuelta, so after that you'll be fine, for sure
