I installed the PCM France DB V7 and I hoped that it put the real names and the real shirts into the game. Real names, yes, real shirts, not so. It maintainead the COM shirt, RadioCash shirt and Omega-Pharma Cyanide shirt. I use the patch 1.3.0.0. This started ocurring after I installed the patch. What should I do?
The installation of a DB has to be done like this:
- Uninstall game
- Install game
- Install patch
- Install DB
If you install in any other order (I guess you installed the patch after the DB) then it will cause problems. Your problem might be that the DB is not compatible with the patch and therefore the local.cdb has been replaced. You could try to replace the new local.cdb with the one from the DB but you would have to make it read only so that the game does not replace it with the latest version.
I intalled the DB after the patch and, from it says in the download thread, the DB is compatible with the patch. I'm gonna unistall the game and install another DB and see if it happens the same thing.
If you installed correctly and the DB is compatible, maybe you have another problem.
I recommend that you make sure that you installed the DB correctly and/or ask the people who released that DB. This forum is more about the game and the daily-DB.
Make sure that you install the DB to the correct folder. The PCMFrance DB is installed by an .exe file, I guess they have as default the French name of the game folder (Pro Cycling Manager - Saison 2012), you should change that and manually point it to your game folder.
