Using the PCM Daily 2011 db. There are multiple versions of TdF, Giro, WC etc. in the directory, but when I play the game i get the same routes every year. I thought it was supposed to happen on its own, would appreciate a quick explanation. |

Which patch do you have installed? If you're not sure if yes, right click the file "PCM.exe" located in Program Files/Cyanide/PCM10, then Properties -> Details -> Version.

Variants were only introduced after 1.3.0.0, so you need this one
https://pcmdaily.com/infusions/pro_dow...hp?did=757
Patch 1.0.3.0 (Update from 1.0.0.0)
- Introduced back the stage variation system in career mode. Data are not included, but the system now allows modification from community packs

If you have already started a career, not really. You'll need to:
1) Create a new career with working variants;
2) Extract both your career and the new one with an editor that saves the tables of the DB as individual files (e.g. Excel Editor, Full Editor);
3) Copy DYN_variant_stage and DYN_variant_date from the new career to your savegame;
4) Export your edited savegame.
Your savegame can be found in My Docs/PCM10/Database/Solo/DB you're playing with (it's also where you should place the new edited save). Btw, don't overwrite the old save, keep it as a backup in case something goes wrong.

Ah I see, but I won't have to do that if I start a new save game right? |
