Is it in some way possible to change a teams sponsorship so it only run until 2012 and you therefore can search for a new sponsor already in the first season?
Or do you know any continental teams that only have sponsorship until 2012?

If you want to do it before starting a career, just open DYN_sponsor and change gene_i_contract_end from the sponsor you want to 2012. You can also use this column to see which teams will have their contract ending in 2012.

It's possible with custom teams. Otherwise, go with the previous answer.

i changed Nissan's contract to where it will end in 2012, but i can't search for sponsors. is that normal? I thought if i had 1 co-sponsor's contract running out, i can find another.
