I finally got around to begin converting my stages. The first one I decides ta make a new version of.So I started up in the stageeditor finished it and all was well. Then the putting it into the game. The ID for the race became 516 and obviously 1516 as stage ID under the new version.Finished and exported the DB (and I have done this LOTS of times) and then for the final test of the game......and what do I get I get Plouay-Plouay....where am I wrong. |

Did you put it into the correct folder? Which might be the wrong folder since Cyanide did mess it up: https://www.cyanid...mp;t=13266 |

I know they messed that one up,so I put it in CM_Stages..(actually I tried both) and same result. (but renaming it to paristroyes etc at least I can use that option to test the race) But still I fail to see where I am wrong the filename is birch23_ast_emerald so it's not there....and I am annoyed (at myself) because I have done it right so many times.
I did however use the fast editor(2011) for putting it into the game instead of yours...is it that? |

I used the excel editor and it worked, my stage was in the game but when it was starting it crashed.. I guess the "data" folder wasn't in the right place? Can anyone tell me where I need to put it? |

You have to put _2012 behind the stage file name. but not in the editor |

This would be the first official statement: https://www.cyanid...mp;t=12994
And this would be the second (already posted above): https://www.cyanid...mp;t=13266
I guess this should be enough info to figure it out.
@mathjiske: If the links above did not help then consider this: If you see the race profile in the game, then the file is in the correct folder. |

If you see the profile fine, but as soon as it's loading it crashes, perhaps you've put the stage in My Docs/Mod/Stages? If yes, this directory is not working (Cyanide said it'll be fixed on the next patch), for the moment you can add the stage to Main PCM folder/CM_Stages.
