i downloaded the latest database (PCM.daily's Expansion Pack for Patch 1.2.0.0)

but my riders are floating through the air. did i installed it incorrect or is it my videosettings?

You've installed it incorrectly. When installing, you need to make sure that you're installing the files in the correct folder (the folder you installed the game).
