Profile shows ITT but I had a normal stage

Hi. Sorry for my english.

During Paris-Nice race (career mode, 2013, first stage) I had problem with type of the stage. It was a short stage (6km) with TT checkpoint after 3km. But it started like a normal stage (all people with the same starting time). So how i can change that to make sure that in the future i will have all ITT stages as real ITT stages? I know that there are editors. So change with this editor in some point (with this stage) in some place (ITT instead of normal stage) is the only thing that I have to do?

If you play with variants, then you have to edit the variants file. I think it is an XML file.
If not, then you can set the stage type in the database or the save.
But you cannot make a setting so that all stages will be recognized correctly, because the game does not try to recognize any stages. Each stage has to be defined separately.

I play with PCM 2010 with daily 2011 database. It's with variants or not? Sorry for this amateur question. I don't understand what variants mean.

Variants = The race route changes every year.
That DB contains variants according its the download page.
Therefore the problem will occur whenever this race variant is due.

It's a faulty of the stagemaker (not setting finish_type as TT = game recognizes it as road race). If you run this variant again, you can open your save, table STA_stage, find the stage and change fkIDstage_type from 1 to 2.
