Hi, please help me...
How is it with (young) riders evolution??
I use RSM-news db 0.95 and Ive edit stats for a few riders in DB editor and set the evolution 0.5...for example...Omega pharma quickstep...legendary sprinter trainer with 7 riders and still no progress...Andrew Fenn supertalent and any attribute more...but it isnt just in my team, every rider from world tour or pro continental is still on the same... |

You need to wait few months at least to see progress on AVG stat. Progress on individual stats will be visible earlier if you train them properly: https://pcmdaily.c...ost_545620
You can always look up the development progress in databaase in DYN_Cyclist table - there is a "capital_f_" column showing how much points each cyclist has gaines - he needs to get at least the amount equal to current skill level to progresss, but the skills are not updsated until the value in column "gene_i_day_progression" goes to zero.
TBH - I have never had a career in any PCM which would not show the stat evolution. PCM 2012 does not differ as far as I have heard. Just be patient, play a bit (2-3 months at least), and you'll see it.

Small correction: it's 100 points, doesn't depend on current level.

I disagree - I've been always playing teams oriented on young talents and quick skill development and I can confirm that what is deciding is getting the amount of points equal to previous skill levels - not a fixed value of "100". That is exactly why low value skills develop a lot quicker than the high values (it takes 33% more time to develop from 80 to 81 than to 61 from 60).
This has been also confirmed and answered many times before on PCM 09-11 forums (I've been following these threads closely but you'll have to search for details).
Unless of course something completely new in skill development came up in PCM 2012.

Okay, that is completely new to me...

I thought, lower skills could simply have a faster increase in that number.
But surely, if there's evidence, I'll believe you.

You need to open your save with an editor to see DYN_cyclist (you can find editors in the downloads section).
