I'm not sure, but for humans it's supposed to have an effect. The higher the fighter stat, the more likely you'll get green bar flashing when attacking, which gives the attack some boost. Not sure though.

That is more or less a myth. Some people will stand up after the green moment claim, but it has never been proved.
