After the 1st season you are able to search for sponsors... but does it even work?
I finally got a message after 2 months or so, that one of my agents were able to make contact with Microsoft, but nothing appears in the Sponsor tab nor in the negotiation thingy just below your agents :S
So once again: Does it even work!? |

I doesn't say anything about how it works, so I thought it was the game which was bugged.
But you have to press on every single agent you've put out and then the sponosor offer will pop |

Yes, they said a patch might include that feature. And probably you'll have to restart you career to get all the features of the patch.

lluuiiggii: I don't think this fix is related to the database, so it should be possible to continue the career.
klysa93: If you don't want to wait for a patch, then you can edit your save. |

But isn't it likely that there are other fixes in that patch and therefore you have to stop career anyway? |

Cyanide can fix three different things:
1. Programming of the game: No need to start a new career. (See latest two patches)
2. Structure of the database: Need to start a new career
3. Content of the database: It is possible to continue the career but some problems obviously will not be fixed. (First patch)
So as long as they only fix point 1 and 3, you can continue your career. Concerning point 3, it would even be possible to make the changes in the DB yourself if you don't want to start a new career.
In PCM09 Cyanide even added a database converter to allow continuing the career. |
