Using PCMdaily2012 v1 database and either Lacchi's editor or PCM Fast editor.
I am tearing my hair out try to figure exactly how each set of equipment is linked to each individual team. Eg where is the link that makes Team Sky ride Sky Pinarellos with C50s and wear Sky Kask helmets?
In the database under TEAMS I go to Sky Procycling and scroll allong to the 4 fkIDequipment_marques columns all of which read 55 (except glasses). Yet when I look under STA_Equipment 55 refers only to the Farnese Vini TT frame. The Sky equipment that the team automatically chooses when you race against them is 34 (frame) 1129 (wheels) and 431 (helmet). I don't understand where the links are.
Basically what I want to do is select specific equipment for my newly created teams. When I put what I thought were the right numbers into the fkIDequipment_marques columns for my new teams, all team members chose a randon frame and helmet and the wheels were not visible during gameplay.
The 55 refers to the equipment marques (in STA_equipment, no STA_equipment_marques). If you order the STA_equipment table from fkIDequipment_marques, you'll see that marques 55 corresponds to a RR and TT frames, RR and TT wheels and RR and (two - one with visor and one without) TT helmets for Sky. So to do it for your team, you need to add new lines in STA_equipment with an unused fkIDequipment_marques, and put this number in your team's equipment in DYN_team.
I guess you've already got how to do it, if not there are some more detailed explanations over the forum
Ok that makes sense but I must be missing something...
First I tried using one of the default lists fkIDequipment_marques no.103. That didn't work so I added my own like you suggested and pasted in the equipment that I want to use. That didn't work either.
I keep getting a different frame and helmet for each rider and no wheels.
If equipment is not appearing (in this case wheels), they might not have been added correctly (watch out for the fkIDunlock values). If you can attach the DB, I or someone else can take a look, otherwise it's quite hard to keep asking for details and waiting for answers to know what could be wrong

The team I'm having trouble with I've called is Team IG-Sigma Sport, and I've created additional equipment under fkIDequipment_markes 113.
If someone with a brain could have a look that'd be swell.
