Just thought I would post a page for people to post things they have noticed as odd or interesting (not things that are wrong or right, just random)
I'll start with noticing in the code that during breakaways and in some other situations, the game is coded to have nationalities matter. Riders from the same country are more likely to help each other out.

Really? That's interesting indeed, I might start using that
So far I haven't noted much oddness yet, but I'll make sure to post it when I do! |

I'm not exactly sure how strong it is, but noticed while looking through some of the .xml files.

As far as I know, the XML files define the "gameplay" in simulation, not 3D race. That said, it can be implemented in 3D too, but you can't use the XML files as proof. |

Here's one I just realized: sponsors won't be changing team abbreviations again, so we'll see LEGO - Unicef with the abbreviation "MOV". Isn't that interesting?
On another note, apparently you can't click anymore on the climb profile (in single race mode) to visualize it bigger.

No you can't. I spent an entire stage race trying to figure it out, but I couldn't.

True, it is for the simulation part of the game.

So when you change sponsor, your abbr stays the same?
Thats... realistic |

Well you can go into the editor and change them, can't you?
All the top sprinters finished in the top places during a sprint stage, oh wait that's realistic for a change I have noticed alot of French riders in the break on the Tour de France, but not working together as of yet though, I dont think.

Abbreviations didn't change in 12 either I don't think. At least not for AI teams.
And just a question, you know how sometimes in 3d races a break wins a stage but is so close to the peloton that they get the same time? Is that possible in quick sim?

well yes, consider Highroad when they got sponsors of columbia and htc, they didn't change the innitials from thr. |

I'm sure when Lego - Unicef will take over Movistar, the abbreviation won't stay MOV |

I believe so, I've had some results where the top sprinters were preceded by non-sprinters. Don't know it it's result of breakaway but it certainly looked that way. |
