Region
YankeeDK
When I make a custom team there is a "region" tab. I can assign a region 1-3 stars and a percentage but there is absolutely no information about what it means. Can anyone explain it to me?

PS: Last PCM I played I think was PCM10. I remember I could bypass days either totally or so it would stop at a race or important information. I don't remember how so could you tell me how to do it in PCM12? Smile

It's the regions your sponsors will want the riders to come from. Stars means the importance of the region (1 - less important, 3 - more important), and the percentage is the % of riders in the team that must come from the region.

To sim through several days you can click on the calendar days at the bottom, but it'll stop in important information. I don't think there's a way to sim without stopping even at important emails.

What practical influence does this have? Will creating a team with 50% of French riders make it easier to get wild-cards/invitations for French races? Or is getting these wild-cards/invitations influenced by the importance you set your sponsor to give to certain regions (stars and % of team) regardless of how many riders you actually have from those regions? Or maybe region selection has no influence at all over anything except sponsor satisfaction?

Yes. Having a French team (not sure about riders nationality - but at least team nationality) certainly helps for French races wildcards, but the sponsor regions of interested don't matter other than sponsor satisfaction (which itself only matters in the last year of the contract, if you want to renew with the sponsor).

Thank you!
It's kind of stupid though it having no influence at all over race wild cards.
