So I've been trying to create my own Grand Tour (Tour of America) and I've gotten the outlines of a few stages. But when I went to test ride one, it just crashed. I choose the stage, and when I clicked on it to preview the course, it crashed. I also downloaded the 2012 Database thingy that had all the new changes and stuff. That won't even go properly too. It crashes right after I click on any thing past the main menu (Ex. Classic, Stage Race, Career, Season etc...) lluuiiggi has helped me out a ton with the stage thing. And I thought I had it right. Can someone please help?
BTW: I placed the database under.
My Documents>PCM11>Database. |

Did you put the stage files in the correct folder? |

Program Files/Cyanide/Main PCM folder (name varies depending on the language of your game).
If you click to see the stage profile and the game crashes (and you can't see the profile), then you haven't placed the files in the CM_Stages folder/they're not named correctly (either in the DB or the files themselves). If it's happening with a DB you've installed, you've probably installed it wrong (wrong folder is the most common error). If it's happening with your stage you probably didn't name it correctly in the DB/didn't place the stage files in the CM_Stages folder.

It's crashing when I click on anything on the main menu. I opened the database itself and it keep telling me the following. "The following entry: 15 does not fit the example. 7, 10, 20." I change something and it actually doesn't give me that error message. |

Don't enter 15 if you are supposed to enter 7, 10 or 20.
What editor are you using anyway? |

CrueTrue hasn't made an editor, so either you mean the editor by CT (not CrueTrue), but I guess you're going with the official editor (it's the one that will accuse this 'error' of the numbers).
@Lachi: very probably this 'error' is concerning the time gap of each stage, so he didn't add 15, the PCMDaily DB adds 15 (while in the official editor you can only choose between 20, 10 and 7, you can't add your own value). Same thing that happens with equipment (official DB editor doesn't recognize the brand the team uses in STA_equipment_brand and accuses an error - nonexistent).
The PCMDaily .cdb file is "compatible" with all editors but the official one, so use another editor to not have this problem.
As for the game crash, do you have the latest patch (1.0.4.4) installed? Did it work before installing the DB?

That is the database I used. And what I meant by CrueTrue is the one he provided. No, I ever did update it simply because at the time I heard the update wasn't really good and as time went by I never really got to updating it. But I've created databases before, I never downloaded them from here however. I also went through every race and gave it a time gap that works and gave each team equipment which was blank, still to no avail.

Ah, ok then. Since the last question (asked by Lachi) was 'which editor you used', you said the one by CrueTrue so that's why I thought there was something wrong
Well, again, the solution is simple, just use another editor (they're also much better than the official one anyways).

What editor would you recommend? Because no database works. |

Any one other than the official one:
https://pcmdaily.com/infusions/pro_dow...p?catid=64
There's also the Advanced Editor (aka Full Editor), which is not listed there, but works with DBs from all games.

What do you mean "your" databases? Do you know how to open the databases in the editor?

Let's start from the beginning:
1. Uninstall the game
2. Install the game
3. Start the game
4. Install the patch
5. Start the game
6. Download this DB: https://pcmdaily.c...hp?did=821
7. Put the DB into the database folder in my documents\pcm2011\database\
8. Start the game
9. Select the database in the options of the game
10. Try the DB by starting a career
If you struggle here, then ask before continuing.
Installing the pcm-daily DB
1. Install the DB by double-clicking the downloaded file
2. Make sure to select the correct folder during the installation (depends you your language and where you installed the game, should be near C:\Program files\
3. Start the game
4. Select the DB in the options of the game
If you struggle here, then ask before continuing.
Editing a DB:
If you want to edit the DB from pcmdaily, then you have to download another editor.
If you only want to add your race into a DB, then you can use the editor which came with the game, but then you have to edit the original or the above mentioned DB.
After doing your edits, create a new cdb file (don't overwrite the existing file).
Start the game and select your newly created DB in the options of the game.
