Heya, i'm having major problems with Le Tour in my story, it crashes 3 out of 4 attempts at playing a stage, It laggs really badly, all over the stages.
It's been happening on short and long stages, I don't think it's graphics, as on my current settings, i played the MSR, Paris-Roubaix, Liége-Bastogne-Liége etc perfectly satisfactorily, as well as the entire Giro D'Italia.
Is it just that the TdF is buggy as hell, or something else? any ideas?
Please Help!

The first thing you should do is totally reduce the graphical options to see if it is related to that.

Nah i tried that, it worked on the very next stage, but then crashed on the day after, so as it made no major difference, i went back in to nicer graphics, as i want to keep it looking good for my story.
I was wondering if maybe the game loads the stages together, and keeps track of several days, hence crashing in the GT not longer classics? (as this would surely use a lot of RAM?)

Different people make different stages; for example, roturn was very careful with graphics in MSR to lower the RAM (if you see the race in the viewer, it has small fields, only covering a bit more than the road). Other stage makers might add lots of fields, cities etc and make the game more likely to crash. So of course length has an impact, but not necessarily.
I don't know how you take screens/write the report, but if you don't use it, deactivating the replay takes a lot of RAM out of it. And no, that last sentence is quite non-sense, it doesn't work that way

Oh, and btw, you can also do the reverse if you write reports based on replays: play the game in low graphics, then up the graphics before loading the replay and take the screens.
