I am playing as Greenedge, 2'nd season. I was pressing continue in bottom left corner, but it simulated the first stage of Tour Dow Under.
I did not get the chance to chooe riders, drive the stage (or simulate if I wanted that, which was not the case), and the first stage was simulated and I was stuck with a useless team and a useless result.
Then I wanted to see if I could drive the second stage, but it was bugged and I could not see any riders in the chosen team before heading into the stage. And when pressing the 'play stage'- or 'simulate' button nothing happened.
Only way to get past Tour Down Under was to press 'simulate without interruption' from the career head menu calender in the bottom of the screen.
But since this is such an important race and goal for my team/sponsor, I do not want to mmis out on this race. I am now a week after the Tour Down Under, as I wanted to see if the next race was bugged. It was not.
I do not want to play this career anymore if I cannot undo this bug of Tour Down Under - nor do I want to play this game or any other future cycling manager again.
What was wrong with my game? And is there any way to undo all this and let me play the Tour Down Under?
Well, if there's a way to undo this all, yes. If it'll let you play the TDU, I can't be a 100% sure, but testing will answer that.
Just load one of the weekly saves found in My Docs/PCM11/Users/username/Database/WeeklySave. Copy a file from before the TDU, paste it in .../Database/Solo/DB you're playing with, rename the file and load it in game.
It worked very well. Thank you so much lluuiiggii! You saved my day (and night too), you are truly incredible.
I cannot thank you enough for helping me solve this problem. And thank you for the fast reply too. My brother says thanks a bunch too, cause we play this career together.

the sad thing is that most people on this forum have gotten really familiar with this process. for this exact reason and a million others.
if the programmers cant code a game that works than they should at least place a manual reset inside the game.
Totally agree with you, as would the majority of people who play the game as well
