Adding stages

Sorry, I couldn't find what I was looking for in the search menu, so I'm asking all of you.
I made a stage and tried adding it to the calender, this didn't work.
Then I tried replacing the first stage of TDU with my race, this worked.
So it seems I can 't add stages, but I can use existing stages and just put them under my file. Can someone help me, please?

Theoretically you should be able to add stages also but you should consider some things:

When adding a stages to an existing race you have to alter the related entry in the race table.

If the stage should be the last stage of the race then also you have to set this.

When adding a stage in between existing stages, you have to alter the dates of all following stages.

When adding a stage to the DB, you need to start a new career.

But maybe you struggle way before this. Maybe you did not even alter the DB? Or did not add a race for the stage?

What I did is:
I made the race.
I exported it into the right map.
I went to database editor (just standard pcm 2011, nothing downloaded)
I went to races, add race. There I added the race.
Then I saved the database, and tried to start new career.
But it always crashes whilst loading the calender.
Yet when I use my file and replace the file of the first race in TDU, it works, and the first race of TDU is my race.
Excuse me for my English.

So, obviously, you've made something wrong when adding the race to the DB. I haven't opened the DB editor that comes with the games for a long time, so I have no idea what you could have done wrong.
