Anybody here knows how long it usually takes before someone uploads a real-name database when a new pcm is released? So, to put it more clearly, when pcm 2012 is released, how long would I have to wait to be able to download a real-name pcm 2012 database?
Another small question, will the olympics be included in pcm 2012?
Thanks in advance. |

From a day to a couple of days. Really short amount of time Usually the game is released faster in some countries e.g Germany last year and some DB makers got the game before it was officially released internationality so it might be even few days before the actual release.
About Olympics, the short answer is no.

Thanks. And do certain races get added in that real-name database like British Championships? Or are those later databases? I suspect the real-name database is uploaded on this site the moment it's finished? And again: thanks for the fast reply! |

A real name .db is usually only that - a database with real names.
Databases with extras usually take a bit longer, though the last couple of PCM Daily 'realname' .db's did have some extras. |

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing there will be compatibility issues with the stages again - so those kind of extras can take some time. |

If I remember correctly, somebody from Cyanide said in one of the interviews that the stage files are incompatible but that the stage builders can just load their files in the new stage maker (or whatever that application is called) and save it again. (Therefore being the same procedure as this year). |

Did they say anything about how big the stage files would be, lachi?
Hope they've somehow found a way to make them smaller - the stages need for the ASO.db are a whopping 8GB package. |

I'm guessing it's the same as for PCM11.

And there'll go another bunch of stages from stage makers who are not active anymore/lost their .zcts files for whatever reason.
