Does it crash in the middle of the stage or while loading the stage.
I guess you installed the DB wrongly. Make sure to install into the correct folder. |

It crashes when i click on stage race or one of the others. This is what happens-
i click on single player
i click on stage race
it says waiting for connection
then the screen goes black and says cycling manager has stopped working

I doubt you re-installed the DB or fixed it manually in this short time.
BTW: This would be the correct subforum: https://pcmdaily.c...rum_id=119
You should find more info about your problem there. |

I think you might have installed it wrong. Try creating a career, then click in the Aus championship. If it crashes before you see the profile, you've installed it wrong (wrong folder).

Here's how to correct it now: go to Program Files/Cyanide. There'll be two folders, one of them with the English name and the other with the 'normal' name. Copy/cut the files from the English name folder (Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011) and paste them in the other folder, that will fix it.

From what I read, you did it wrong - you need to copy the files from the Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011 folder to the other (original) folder, such as 'Pro Cycling Manager - Seizonen 2011'.
Since you've already copied all the files into the wrong folder though, it's just easier to rename the folder rather than copying all the files again
Ps.: and as a bonus, you now keep your clean installation of the game if you want to install another DB (it's usually not recommended to install 2 DBs in the same PCM folder).

good luck haha my copy of PCM seems immune to any database changes. try as i might. pcm is without a doubt the buggiest game i have owned.
top 10 of all time in no particular order, not including the cannibal cause hes automatically #1:
-Gemininani -Nencini -Anquetil -Coppi
-Kelly -Hinault -Zabel -Bettini -Rebellin -Magni
..and honorable mention to Tom Simpson whos career was cut short.
Top 5 noobs most likely to tear it up this season:
-Phinney -Moser -TJ -Guardini -DURBO!

There's several things wrong with that folder.. you're missing a lot of files + you have some files which shouldn't be there, only in the My Docs PCM folder.

I'm guessing you installed the files to your PCM-folder in My Docs. You should install them to your PCM folder in Program Files/Cyanide |

It'd probably be easier if you installed the DB again rather than moving the folders.
If you want to save space, delete the entire PCM folder in My Docs, start the game again, close it and install the PCM.daily DB. |
