Hello,
I have a problem with the PCM.daily's 2012 DB V1! I hope someone can help me!
I've bought Pro Cycling Manager 2011 and downloaded the PCM.daily's 2012 DB V1
This is what I did,
I:
1. installed Pro Cycling Manager to E:\Program Files (x86)\PCM
2. updated Pro Cycling Manager to 1.0.4.4
3. downloaded PCM.daily's 2012 DB V1
4. double clicked on the PCMdaily2012DBV1.exe
5. installed it in E:\Program Files (x86)\PCM
no problem so far, but when I start te game, go to the option menu en want to select the 2012 DB, there only is the officalrelease.cdb
so please, can someone help me?

I rare occasions there is a problem with the patch, so you have to install the fix: https://pcmdaily.c...hp?did=816
After installing the fix, start the game again.
But even after that, there might be an issue with the folders in my documents\pcm2011\
Sadly I cannot find the thread about this fix in the official forum. I guess you would need to create a folder called "database" in the above mentioned folder, if it has not been created after installing the fix and starting the game.
Finally, if the folder is there, but there is no DB in it (a file somewhat named pcmdaily) then just install the DB again. |

... or make a copy of the Database Files (located in the PCM Program Files folder/PCM.daily Database Files), pasting the file called PCMdaily2012DBv1 into the Database folder and the Local.cdb file to My Docs/PCM (make sure that the Local.cdb file overwrites the old one).

thanks for your time and your help guys.
But I can't get it to work!
the my documents/PCM wasnt even there after the installation of pcm 2011. So i made one by myself, installed the pcmdaily db again. but that didn't do the trick either.
any other suggestions? |

Carlo, i experienced that proble, usually when you install only 1 database. Check if the official release is actually the PCMDAILYDB. |

@CrueTrue I already tried. I made a copy of the PCMdaily2012DBv1 en paste it in E:\Program Files (x86)\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011\Database.
but i have not the My Docs/PCM, or where can i find this?
i'm going to remove al the downloads en download it again. and try again what Luigi said! |

The My Documents folder of PCM will be created after you launch the game for the first time, did you already do that?

No, it's C: (for me at least)/Users/my user/My Documents.
Try searching your computer for 'StageConfiguration' (no apostrophes). It is in the My Docs folder, if you find something then just follow the path

You're not listening. We're NOT talking about the folder in Program Files. The folder is in My Documents which, as Luigi said, is in Drive Letter:\User\Username\My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager. The folder is usually also available from the desktop.

Yes i know. I did read it! But like I said before. I do NOT have this folder! My OS is installed on drive letter C and i have got all my other stuff on E. I did this because I have limited space on C cause its a SSD with only 60 GB free space. So I move the original C:\User\Username\My Documents\ to E. But this is cleary malfunctioning at this point. So atm i'am reinstalling my OS on my desktop, cause I think this is the problem! If not, I hope you are still ready to help me! |
